Entries for the 2025 Sydney Royal Distilled Spirits Show are now open. Scheduled for 8–9 September 2025 at Sydney Olympic Park, the two-day event celebrates its second year, aiming to drive innovation in Australia’s distilled spirits industry.
Under the guidance of chair of judges, Stuart Gregor, the event invites entries from across Australia. It will offer expert industry benchmarking and feedback for those exploring distillery opportunities.
Committed to engaging experienced judges and stewards, the distilled spirits show also seeks to foster networking opportunities for all participants.
“Spirits in Australia are having their moment and while many distillers, and likely entrants in this year’s show, are in their early stages of growth, the industry believes Australian spirits could and should be a $1billion+ industry over the next decade,” said Gregor.
“In 2025 we have around 800 distilleries in Australia, in every State and Territory making a huge array of spirits, liqueurs, ready-to-drink cocktails and non-alcoholic variants.
“We invite them all to enter Australia’s most famous Show.”
There will be a range of classes at the Sydney Royal Distilled Spirits Show: gin, vodka, whisky, cane spirit, rum, brandy, liqueur, alternative spirit, ready to drink (RTD), and non-alcoholic spirit. Among these, the RTD and non-alcoholic spirit classes distinguish the show from others.
Entries are open until 25 June 2025.
