Starbucks launches ready-to-drink iced coffee beverages

Starbucks iced coffee is hitting the shelves, bringing consumers its signature taste in a convenient on-the-go format this summer.

The launch brings the iconic Starbucks Frappuccino to retail, a delicious, perfectly blended coffee with creamy milk and just the right amount of sweetness.

Starbucks Frappuccino will now be available in two flavours – milk coffee latte and mocha – to purchase in Woolworths, IGA, 7/11, BP and EG Group.

The new Starbucks Frappuccino iced coffee range is the result of a collaboration between Nestlé and Starbucks.

Nestlé will exclusively market, distribute and develop the Starbucks ready-to-drink coffee beverages in Australia, leveraging its local footprint and distribution.

Nestlé general manager of Dairy Rebecca Dobbins said, “Through this new collaboration, Nestlé and Starbucks are bringing Australians the signature taste of Starbucks coffee in an easy, ready-to-drink format.

“These new products will enable us to grow our younger consumer segment, with a tailored and new beverage offering. We are confident Australian coffee lovers will love these products in the summer months when a cold beverage is perfect for on-the-go.”

Ready-to-drink coffee is a fast-growing category in Australia and Starbucks will continue to develop a strong innovation pipeline to further grow the category.
