Stella Artois beers recalled in UK after fears of glass contamination

Manufacturer of Stella Artois and Beck’s beers, InBev, has recalled batches of its Stella Artois beer in the UK after fears that they may contain small pieces of glass.

InBev said in a statement, that the recall was a result of an “isolated issue affecting a single production run of glass bottles.”  Six batches of 10 x 250mL bottle packs of Stella Artois beer have been recalled from consumers. Notices are being displayed in UK stores and on the Internet explaining the recall.

According to the UK Food Standards Agency, no other Stella Artois products are known to be affected.
