ICP DAS’ PMD series Industrial IoT power meter concentrator with touch panel

ICP Australia has introduced ICP DAS’ PMD Series Industrial IoT (IIoT) power meter concentrator with 7-inch and 10.4-inch touch panel.

PMD Series is equipped with the TFT LCD (with Touch Panel) and designed for Panel Mount installation. It provides an easy way for viewing the power data and setting the system parameters at the local side. PMD Series also is equipped with built-in web server that allows direct connections via browsers to the system for viewing power data and setting the system parameters. This Series supports the Modbus TCP/RTU, SNMP, FTP and MQTT protocols for seamless integration with the back-end SCADA/MES/IT/IoT/Network Management systems.

In addition to ICP DAS M-7000 I/O modules, the PMD series could connect to standard Modbus TCP/RTU slave modules. By working with the I/O modules, and functions such as If-Then-Else logic rule execution and alarm notification functions including LINE/Messenger/Email, the PMD offers more thought-out power demand management and alarm notification functions, and is able to perform load shedding of the devices if required, and enables real-time monitoring and control of the power consumption of the devices.

When using PMD series to build a power management and monitoring system, during the whole process of system development, no programming is required; it takes a few clicks on web page to complete all settings; it is easy for the user to quickly view the power data of the devices and furthermore process the data for statistics and analysis. The PMD series is an easy-to-use and easy-to-build total solution for power management and monitoring that makes more efficient energy usaage.

Light industrial interactive widescreen Panel PC series

ICP Australia has introduced the iEi’s AFL3-WXXA-AL light industrial interactive widescreen Panel PC series.

The AFL3-W10A/W12A/W15A-AL Series is a quad-core Intel Celeron processor J3455 powered flat bezel Panel PC with a rich variety of functions and peripherals. The flat-bezel design is ideal for easy and simplified integration into various applications.

The Intel Celeron J3455 is a SoC (System-on-Chip) that ensures optimal memory, graphics, and peripheral I/O support. It is equipped with 4GB of DDR3L SO-DIMM memory ensuring smooth data throughputs with reduced bottlenecks and fast system access.

iEi’s new Mustang-MPCIE-MX2 computing accelerator card

ICP Australia has introduced iEi’s new Mustang-MPCIE-MX2 computing accelerator miniPCIe card with two Intel Movidius Myriad X VPU, providing a flexible AI inference Solution, designed to execute two topologies simultaneously.

The Mustang-MPCIE-MX2 card includes two Intel Movidius Myriad X VPU, providing a flexible AI inference solution for space limited and embedded systems.

VPU is short for vision processing unit. It can run AI faster, and is well suited for low power consumption applications such as surveillance, retail and transportation, as its power consumption is 7.5W.

This highly flexible product supports Intel’s OpenVINO toolkit for the optimisation of pre-trained deep-learning models such as Caffe, MXNT, ONNX and Tensorflow.

iEi’s GPOE series PCI express power over Ethernet card

ICP Australia is proud to introduce iEi’s GPOE Series (GPOE-2P and GPOE-4P) PCI Express Power over Ethernet Card 2/4-Port 1000 Base(T), 802.3at/af Compliant, Low Profile, RoHS.

With PoE Technology, users can easily connect various PoE PD supported IP camera to the control system through the standard CAT-5/CAT-6 Cable (up to 100 meters) to transfer both electrical power and data at the same time.

In this application, users can lower the difficulty of routing to avoid the risk of Power Adapter Failure, and easily build the system to act as PSE, allowing the entire Production Process to be Monitored and Controlled from A to Z.

ZigBee isolated digital I/O module with 300m transmission range

ICP Electronics Australia hasd introduce ICP DAS’ new tZT-P4C4 wireless 4-CH isolated digital input and 4-CH isolated digital output module.

The tZT-P4C4 provides four channels for digital input and four channels for digital output, each of which features photocoupler isolation. It supports sink-type output with protection against short-circuiting, and source-type input. All input channels can be used as 16-bit counters. Further, there are options for configuring power-on and safe digital output values, with 4kV ESD protection and 3750 VDC intra-module isolation also provided.

The series has the advantage of both low cost and low power consumption of the ZigBee modules. They have the capability for wireless communication up to 300m (LOS) standard transmission distance. Coupled with the tZT’s dynamic mesh network, users can catch DIO data in difficult-to-wire environments.
