That’s Amore Cheese Wins Leader of Food & Beverage Award at 2023 Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame Awards

That’s Amore Cheese took home the Leader of Food & Beverage Award at the Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame Awards late last week.

Now in its 21st year, the annual Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame Awards recognise outstanding achievements in Victoria’s manufacturing industry.

Entrants went through a rigorous assessment and judging process before being declared finalists, and winners were announced late last week at Palladium at Crown.

Adding to the cheese producer’s ever-growing list of award wins, this latest award was especially sweet as the team had just celebrated 15 years in business.

That’s Amore Cheese founder Giorgio Linguanti is thrilled that not only do the cheeses continue to win awards but that the business is being recognised for its manufacturing excellence.

“I am so proud of the That’s Amore team, who work so hard every day to create amazing cheeses for our customers, delis, restaurants and cafes around the country and internationally.

“A lot of time and effort goes into developing and producing the very best cheeses, using milk from local dairy farmers who we love to support. We are proud of our processes and we now produce more than 60 types of Italian style cheeses.

“It is a long way away from starting That’s Amore Cheese by creating one cheese at home and visiting Melbourne chefs to try it 15 years ago.”
