In Food mag's first ever news wrap-up, we give you a quick overview of the most popular stories from our website this week.

The Federal Budget is still making news, and an overview of its impacts was the most read story on our website this week. Readers were keen to understand how the food and beverage manufacturing industry will be affected, and in this story the AFGC's views and balaced with that of the national head of food and beverage at Grant Thornton,Tony Pititto.

A more light-hearted story also did well. There's talk of a potential global whisky shortage, and you'll never guess what it's being blamed on.

And lastly, Torchmedia, together with nut bar manufacturer Be Natural, has managed to convince Woolworths to allow it to install what is the largest in-store execution in an Australian supermarket. Check it out in the video below.
