Tim Tams are making their American debut after appearing the Australia themed Oprah special last week.
Actor Hugh Jackman gave audience members the Aussie icons, and this week Arnott’s has announced that Tim Tams have hit shelves in the US for the first time.
Arnott’s Tim Tam has been an Aussie favourite since it was first launched back in 1964, with Australians consuming around 400 million biscuits each year – making Tim Tam the world’s most popular chocolate biscuit per head of population.
The Tim Tam biscuits premiering in America are made at Arnott’s bakery at Huntingwood in Sydney, using the same ingredients and the same formulation that has made Tim Tam famous.
Two flavours have been introduced in the US – Chocolate Crème and Caramel, which Australians know as Tim Tam Original and Chewy Caramel.
Tim Tam is being sold by Arnott’s sister company Pepperidge Farm at all Target stores throughout the US.
