Top industry players recognised at Coles Liquor awards

In its annual Supplier Showcase and Awards Ceremony recognising excellence, quality, and innovation, Coles Liquor Group has named eight suppliers as the retailer’s best of the year.

Held in Melbourne on Thursday 4 July at the MCG, Coles Liquor hosted more than 330 suppliers and partners to celebrate ongoing collaboration within Australia’s drinks industry.

Lion, one of Australia’s leading beverage companies, took home an impressive three awards, winning the top spot as Beer Supplier, Supply Chain Partner, and Product Launch of the Year.

Coles Liquor Group chief executive Michael Courtney thanked suppliers for their role in ensuring the business delivers on its vision to be a simpler, more accessible, and locally relevant drinks specialist.

“In working with our more than 1,200 suppliers, we’re delivering our customers’ favourite drinks on our shelves and working hard to help deliver value at a time when it’s needed most,” said Courtney.

“It’s an honour to have many of our suppliers in one room and to recognise their outstanding achievements, from new product launches our customers are loving to sustainability initiatives that aim to make a big difference.”
