v2sausages provide a plant-based alternative

v2sausages

v2, Australian plant-based meat manufacturer, has announced it will roll out their new plant-based sausages nationwide at Coles and Woolworths, v2sausages.

After a successful trial, v2sausages have been designed to sizzle on the BBQ as traditional sausages do, but crafted with v2’s signature plant-based protein. The additions of onion, garlic, thyme and parsley also deliver the flavour and texture which Australians love.

v2sausages are an easy way for Australians to experience both the health and environmental benefits of a sustainable plant-based diet, without missing out on the great taste of traditional meats.

v2food propelled into the plant-based protein scene back in 2019, and has since debuted its flagship v2mince and v2burgers that look, taste and cook like meat in a host of retailers including Drakes, Coles, and Woolworths.

“We have an enormous challenge at our doorstep; we need a plan for how we’re going to sustainably feed a growing population that is marching towards 10 billion people,” v2food founder and CEO Nick Hazell said.

“We’re on a mission to help diversify the world’s protein supply with tasty and sustainable options, and the national roll out of v2sausages is our next step towards achieving this in Australia.

“From the classic barbeque, to a delicious sausage casserole, our snags come served with a side of sustainability.”

v2sausages are now available at over 600 locations throughout Australia at $9.00 for a pack of eight.
