Wholesaler changes business model and goes retail

With the shut down of the hospitality industry, Two Providores has seen its sales firstly to airlines and caterers, and then pubs, clubs, restaurants and cafes drop significantly, leaving them with an over-supply of food. In order to survive and keep our local producers producing, they’ve done a major rework of their business model to turn from wholesale to retail.

Normally only available wholesale, the business is now opening to the public, taking online orders for pick-up or delivery across Sydney.

There is a range of food that was destined for restaurants like Quay and Firedoor now available to buy such as cheeses, yoghurts and other dairy to pantry staples like local honey, flour, grains and olives.

Not only will public orders help them clear their stocks, most importantly it will help local producers continue to produce.
