WineVine.tv launches video destination for global wine community

In what’s believed to be a first of its kind, WineVine.tv has launched a digital video destination for the expanding global wine community.

The digital tv channel provides a platform for the wine community to view and discover a wide breadth of knowledge, information and entertainment delivered by a collection of expert hosts.

Commentary on all wine matters ranging from varietals to vintages, grape growth, winemaking, retail and consumption will be covered along with segments from wine critics and personalities such as “Insights”, “Regions and Wineries”, “Tastings” and “True or False”.

Australian wine writer, critic and educator, Jeremy Oliver has been announced as one of the lead presenters on the channel.

“I like the fact that Wine Vine is as keenly focused towards people learning about wine for the first time as it is to the experienced wine drinker,” he says.

“Wine needs to be all-inclusive, more accessible and more engaging, and that’s what we’re all about.”

“We have created a global digital platform and content environment for consumers and advertisers alike to take advantage of relevant, quality production of video wine content,” says WineVine.tv founder and CEO, Frank Brown.

“WineVine.tv targets the fast growing international audience of wine consumers, from beginners to connoisseurs, across all markets. There are already hundreds of videos available on the WineVine.tv digital channel today, but this is only the beginning, with much more already in the production pipeline.”

Brown has partnered with Perry Smith, Founder and CEO of Brand New Media to bring the project to life, together with former CEO of Treasury Wine Estates, David Dearie and former president of IMG Asia, Breck McCormack.
