Women want simpler healthy eating options, but admit they overcomplicate things

Research has shown over a third of women think their lives are too complicated and almost 40 per cent want eating healthy to be simpler.

The study, commissioned by Uncle Tobys, surveyed 1000 women between 24 and 39, with 44 per cent reporting that they found reading and understanding food labels difficult and 70 per cent say they just want simple snacks made from healthy ingredients to snack on during busy days.

Almost half of the women surveyed said they struggle to find quality time to spend with their partner, but then almost 40 per cent say they have a tendency to overcomplicate things.

To coincide with the study, Uncle Tobys has unveiled a new range of portion-controlled snacks, featuring fruit bars, fruit nibbles and a nature’s mix that have undergone minimal processing.

The Uncle Tobys team was kind enough to send some samples to the Food Mag office, and they have been very well received.

You can get your hands on the new products in-store in September.
